2. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to personal data processed through the Application and related support channels. It does not apply to third-party websites, apps, or services linked from the Application.

We collect data directly from you, automatically through device usage, and from third-party processors as necessary.

We adopt technical and organisational measures (encryption, access control, logging). Data is hosted securely in the EEA (primarily AWS).

Third-party services linked from the App are governed by their own policies.

Data is processed in the EEA. Transfers outside the EEA rely on adequacy decisions or SCCs.
Phone Number Use & Live-Stream Participation
If you choose to provide your phone number within the Topics Chat app, we may contact you for participation in live streams or other interactive events. We will always ask for your explicit consent before broadcasting or recording your voice. Your phone number will never be used for marketing, sold, or shared with third parties for unrelated purposes. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at support@topicschat.com
15. Children’s Privacy
The Application is for users 13+. We do not knowingly process data from children under 13.
16. Sensitive Personal Data
Do not send sensitive categories of data (racial, health, religion, etc.). If received, it will be deleted unless legally required.
17. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified in-app.
