1. General App Conduct

• Treat everyone with kindness and respect.

• Harassment, hate speech, bullying, and personal attacks are strictly prohibited.

• Healthy debate is welcome — personal insults are not.

• Explicit content (e.g. nudity, adult material) is only permitted in Channels and must be properly flagged as NSFW.

• Explicit content is strictly forbidden in Topics Rooms, regardless of the context.

• Illegal, violent, or harmful content is never allowed anywhere in the app.

🔹 Identity & Privacy

• Impersonation, fake accounts, or misleading profiles are not allowed.

• Do not share anyone's personal information without their clear consent.

🔹 Reporting & Blocking

• Use the report and block features to protect yourself and others.

• Our moderation team reviews all reports and will take action if necessary, including content removal, warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.

2. In Topics Rooms

Topics Rooms are temporary, real-time discussion spaces created around specific topics. To preserve their integrity:

Stay On-Topic

• Engage respectfully and keep your contributions relevant.

• Avoid spam, trolling, or deliberately derailing discussions.

Respect the Flow

• Give others space to speak — don't dominate or interrupt.

• Mockery, provocation, or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

No Explicit Content

• Explicit content (nudity, sexual material, etc.) is not allowed in Topics Rooms.

• Violations will result in immediate removal from the room and possible account penalties.

3. In Public Channels

Public Channels are ongoing, community-driven spaces where users share content and ideas.

Contribute With Purpose

• Share relevant, valuable, and respectful content.

• Avoid spam, clickbait, or excessive self-promotion.

NSFW Content Policy

• Explicit content is only allowed in NSFW-marked Channels.

• You must clearly label the channel as NSFW during creation and ensure all content inside follows platform rules.

• Failure to flag or misuse NSFW tags may result in sanctions or removal of the channel.

Respect Channel Rules

• Channel admins may set specific rules. As long as they follow Topics Chat's guidelines, those rules should be respected.

• If a channel's theme doesn't suit you, simply explore others, or create your own.
